about

This track was written when Pubs decided that Bikers were second class customers and signage such as 'Motor Cyclists By Appointment Only' started to appear.Playing in a Rock band Bikers were often big supporters of the live music scene. So Birmingham band 'Finis Code' took up their Cause.Around that time in the early to mid 80's, the Wine Bar became a more trendy place to go than rubbing shoulders with Bikers,Greasers or even Teddy Boys.

lyrics

Saturday Night went out with my baby but something wasn't right (rpt)
Went to a place I went to back in '74
A man in a monkey suit said you ain't welcome no more
Took a look at the clothes I was wearing, said you ain't coming in
We don't allow no Crapes or Drapes or Safety Pins.

By appointment only everywhere I go..

Ain't gonna cry at the death of the disco
Turn it on down screams the man who thinks he's running the show (rpt)
We've got a message just for you ,we're here to stay
You dress them up in Women's clothes, they don't need to pay
You're just a thing from Orwell's nightmares
You're getting in my way
I'm gonna burn you down with hellfire
Gonna make you pay.

Leather clad devil dancing motor cycle maniac
With a Gene Vincent limp
Hard lovin' men got the rocky road blues
For ever Johnny Kidd and Linda Lu
Their is a sign on the wall
Tear it down.
